I have this thing with the automobile. i, for some reason, am really fascinated by their glamor and beauty in design, and their functionality. I mean, this machine is probably one of the most ingenious inventions every made by man, and to see people have that passion to make even better cars as generations pass really does touch me.
When i see people despise these marvels, i am really confused by their motives on disliking them. Whenever i ask somebody why they are bad, they would say they are dangerous. this statement is complete bullshit to my standards, as they don't know the thrill of the drivers seat and the aesthetic designs of that car.
When you get into a car, you would turn it on, and hear that purr, roar, scream, or any other monstrous sound that makes that car say "drive me." then you could press that peddle, and drive any where, Twisty mountain passes give way to winding country roads and small towns, before bleeding into a red desert ridge. The road types are just as varied, ranging from narrow dirt tracks to a lengthy freeway that, in the right car, you can breach the 100mph mark on. you can crank up that station up to the max, hearing loud music as you see the beautiful visuals of the urban forrest to the natural beauty of mother earth.
I would say my car would be a Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro. This car.... it is something.... beautiful. i mean, there is that feminine touch to it, which i love, and i love the elegance of the body, how it curves and shines. i also love how the front headlights look, as they would light up and shine its eyes down the road. the engineering of the design for this car is visibly labored, and i must say, the results are beyond standard expectations.
Now i wouldnt say i have experienced this myself, or have ever driven a car, but i see people, cars, vids, and companies say this, and i take their word for it (also, i play Forza 4 and horizon, so i takes its realistic physics to real life :P)
Anyone share the same passion?

I have a topic to debate about, which is the following:

the united states ought to guarantee universal health care for its citizens

This is a horrible topic to debate about, IMO, and i cant seem to understand why universal health care, (health care for everyone basically) is a good thing. i mean all it does is bring more debt and make people more lazy. plus, this nation is already a mess, and our economy is already fucked up from health care, especially obamacare. imagine the scale of disaster that universal health care can cause.

so that is why i made this post: to ask you guys why this is a good thing.

Who dares try?

I have been thinking about music lately, and i find it pretty remarkable on how much music has evolved in the past century.

In the 1900's, jazz was on the rise, and all the wind instruments were the favorites of the public. then soon, vocals came in, and the tempo and rhythm changes, then the 1960's came in, and that is where all the real changes came in. Michael jackson doing his moonwalks and Elvis doing his thing with his pelvis. Then the 1980's came in with it's electronic variations and disco themed songs. 2000's was moving towards electronics and shifted towards the modern music.

To see music and the peoples taste in music change this much is, i think, pretty unimaginable. who would have thought that we would have dubstep or house music playing, even ten years ago?

What do you guys think about it?
