ARPA (Abusive Review Prevention Agency) was a group formed by the user, knuckstrike, and was formed to give other users on Newgrounds more whistle points and to help this site to get rid of useless review on flash submissions.

This is an eulogy to this group.

I was a user who had no clue what a whistle point was. I was just a noob on this site, giving mere reviews and playing limited games. At the time i was only a garbage whistle, since i had clicked on a few !. I was introduced to a group called the HSR (Hank Shall Rule). This group was intended as a place where you would "worship" a character named Hank Wibermore from a popular series called "madness combat". The group had little fan base, so we thought we would go and send messages to the others for them to join. I have sent hundreds of messages to others on the site. some replied and joined, while others would either ignore it or send a hate response. One message went to imatouko-chan and she sent me a reply to join the ARPA.

That is how i met imatouko-chan, a person who has changed my whistle status.

She has sent me a life changing message by introducing me to a group, ARPA, and since then i was an active user on this site, flagging away the abusive reviews. I then changed to normal whistle, bronze, then silver. It was pure joy. i never thought i would reach this point. It was a triumphant victory for me.

At the time it had no name, so i decided to give the name ARPA to this relatively new group at the time. There was a small group sending each other links to the flash submission where the comment was so we can get more whistle points.

One day, the powers of managing the ARPA has switched to and it has continued on then.

Then the unimaginable happened. The ARPA has shut down.

There was a warning from a few users that we would get to trouble if the group has continued, thus leading tots shutdown.
It was a sad thing for this to happen, and i wish this group can continue and prosper, but we had to do what we had to do.
i want to thank this group for helping me go to this point and whichout you guys, i wouldn't have done it, and i ESPECIALLY thank you imaTouku-chan for introducing me to this group. i also thank Knuclestrike for his thoughts on creating this group and help us.
