No news, but I've got another theory: some claim that the release dates of previous episodes were various anniversaries and important dates, so he might be stalling for time so he can release it on Valentine's Day (since people joke about RD being lesbian).
If you have read the tumblr blog with jappleack, there is parts where she wants to see and love her sister again, and he did state that both the tumblr conclusion and the actual .MOV conclusions will merge into that movie SWAG.MOV. so think about it: jappleack wanting to love applebloom and RD being lesbian, you never know
