That's still pretty damn impressive in my eyes. I don't know any German or Gaelic. I can't even reliably translate any Spanish, which I've been formally educated in.
Yea, I have the same issue with Spanish. I can translate more simple phrases, but when it gets more complex, and it becomes something that you have to comprehend, even if you are fluent with Spanish, I fail at that..
Either way, I don't exactly see language as a resourceful tool in life scenarios, as I live in a place with little spanish people, and it doesn't benefit me as much as Science or Math.
