"microsoft did, and apple made it a posible genre of devices, while microsofts tablet was a FLOP."

My point was that Apple copies from Microsoft, and Microsoft from Apple.

"macs are aluminum and stainless steel. they only melt in environment hotter then 130 degrees."

Is that °F or °C? Also, Plastic also doesn't melt easily. I've never seen a laptop melt that easily without something being horribly broken.

"unibody is something that actually holds the whole thing together without any other physical damage from other counterparts. it is better then assembling hundreds of parts loosely then having it compacts in one case."

Touche, I don't know that much about unibodies, so I will stand away from that.

"-it even beats 1080p"

My point was that as soon as the pixels cannot be seen anymore, it doesn't matter. At 1080p, you can't see pixels anymore on such a small screen (compared to e.g. TVs)

"-you say beautiful, i say messy."

Let's take a black laptop with red backlit keys. What is messy about that? This is also opinion-based: I find the Macbooks with the white backlit keyboards very cold.

"-multitouch as in using two finger to scroll, swiping, thumbing, zooming, enlarging. this is a patent that windows cant infringe, of they will be sued."

Two-finger-scroll is something I use daily. Most of the others are usable on phones (in my experience). Apple has indeed taken it to the highest level at this moment though.

"when i say multitasking, i mean running 10 desktops on one small laptop. (also dashboard)"

That's something you don't see on a daily base on Windows computers, no, but it is definitely possible.

"my stand aint futile. look at the worth or apple to Microsoft. Microsoft is worth 100 billion while apple is SIX times bigger."

I never said your stand is futile, I'm saying I love argumenting.

Also, the fact that Apple is six time bigger (assuming you meant worth 6 times more) only means that more people (=the mass) buys Apple products. It doesn't really say anything.

Keep going, we'll get through the statements eventually :D

"Is that Ã'°F or Ã'°C? Also, Plastic also doesn't melt easily. I've never seen a laptop melt that easily without something being horribly broken."

Thanks for reminding me. forgot the C

"Let's take a black laptop with red backlit keys. What is messy about that? This is also opinion-based: I find the Macbooks with the white backlit keyboards very cold."

this is just matter of opinion on backlit keyboards, so this isnt really arguing.

"My point was that Apple copies from Microsoft, and Microsoft from Apple."

Do you know what is Steve Jobs favorite quote? "good artists copy, great artists steal." he followed it and "stole" ideas and taken the imitating part to be the "bad" artist. that is how he views Microsoft. they cant innovate anymore IMO, with gates gone, and now they are looking at apple and tried to imitated the OS X functionality back in 2000's. they failed and lost money in research. that is fact. apple doesn't copy from Microsoft because they don't need to, since they stole all the good engeneers from them and all the other tech companies. :)

Two-finger-scroll is something I use daily. Most of the others are usable on phones (in my experience). Apple has indeed taken it to the highest level at this moment though.

I never heard of two finger scrolling on a pc before......

we got some statements down :)

Actually, I can only reply to the "I never heard of two finger scrolling on a pc before......" I believe I can also use three fingers and tapping, though I turned that off, since it annoys me in endless ways to use the wrong 'command' by accident.

Nevertheless, the 'battle' between Windows and OS X is really a matter of opinion. I say that OS X is best for the mass, since it's so user-friendly, and Windows is better for the people who like a little more 'challenge' in their computers. OS X is also better for artists, but that is also a twistable (if that's a word).

I do see Linux as the most competent OS, though unless you know your programming, it's incredibly hard to work with.

Linux is probably a program for developers, the true techies of this world.

So lets say this: OS X is for the artists and the "rebels" of this world, while Windows is for the professional and more, i guess, "complex" users.

Apple.

lol yey

This debate is STILL going? *facepalm*

i think it has ended....

"At the gala (it's amazing), I will sell them (better hurry), all my apple-tastic treats (yummy yummy). Hungry ponies (they'll be snacking), they will buy them (bring your money), caramel apples/apple sweets (gimme some)! And I'll earn a lot of money for the Apple family."

Am I to understand that Applejack and Applebloom's family has a proper surname? More importantly, they seem to put it at the beginning of their names, arguably in the Japanese style.

Huh.... i have never seemed to noticed it before.... it is just a show, and i doubt that they had any intentions of a "japanese cultivated" southern pony. Nice catch though.....

Don't think it has ended yet, AppleJack.

First, let me argue that Apple is complete shit due to their immense high prices. You can build a super computer (better than the Apple computer) with less money than the Apple computer price.

It's truth; it's fact; it's conclusion.

ok then, that is what IBM tried to do, and that is what got them out of the PC market.
they do make on hell of some supercomputers though....

Scrap the 'rebels' thingy, and I'm satisfied.

mkay

Excellent! Then we have come to an agreement! I shall now proceed to shake thy hand, worthy opponent!

Good show there lad! Good show!
